Tinos is the fourth-largest island in the Cyclades, celebrated for its artistic legacy as the birthplace of some of the world’s finest marble sculptors, as well as for its deep religious tradition, flavorful Tinian cuisine, and scenic network of hiking trails. A Cycladic island in the southern Aegean, Tinos invites you to explore at a slower pace of living, letting its harmonious Aegean spirit reveal itself.

Here, in Triantaros, a historic village in the south of the island dating back to medieval times, stands PANO – The Artist House, a traditionally built architectural gem restored with exceptional care.
PANO — The Artist House breathes new life into a traditional Cycladic house, preserving its original foundations and building framework while retaining approximately 95% of the materials already present on site.
Sustainability and zero-waste principles were at the heart of the restoration not by adding more, but by carefully rethinking, reusing and giving new life to what was already there.
The result is an elegant, fine-lined Mediterranean residence, deeply rooted in the traditional architecture of Tinos and thoughtfully attuned to the island’s unique microclimate.
PANO — The Artist House opens onto the landscape through generous outdoor spaces, where terraces and balconies frame uninterrupted views across the Aegean. The sea, sky and rugged landscape of Tinos are always present, from morning coffee to long evenings outside, with the Cyclades stretching towards the Mediterranean horizon.
The outdoors are an essential part of the island living experience, with the sea, landscape and open skies of Tinos becoming part of everyday life.

Discover Tinos in winter

PANO — The Artist House offers artists the time and space to develop new work in direct response to their surroundings, with the house’s physical character and accumulated memory providing a fertile context for creative experimentation, as their practice extends beyond its walls into Triantaros, the wider landscape of Tinos and the everyday life of the island, allowing each artist to draw from the place itself and transform its spaces into settings for new work.
Throughout the year, PANO — The Artist House alternates between being a home, a working studio, an exhibition space and a place for gathering, giving each artist the time and freedom to live and work on Tinos. Each residency concludes with an exhibition and publication, adding a new perspective to an evolving collection of work shaped by the house, the island and the people around it, never repeating what came before, but building on it.
