Art and Walk is a dedicated duo offering walking and hiking tours, agricultural experiences and creative workshops on the stunning island of Karpathos, Kasos, and the islet of Saria, in the Dodecanese archipelago of the Aegean Sea.
Since 2018, they have been offering high quality guided walks, art workshops, agricultural tours and audio guides in both English and Dutch, giving visitors an immersive experience of the natural beauty and rich traditions of the island of Karpathos and the island of Saria.

Botanical Clay Workshop
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Karpathos with the Botanical Clay Workshop at Pini Volada, a hands-on creative experience that brings art and nature together. Guided by an expert team from the Art and Walk team, participants will explore the delicate art of imprinting local herbs, leaves and flowers onto clay to create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces. Whether you create a plate, bowl, mug or something completely unique, each piece will serve as a lasting memento imbued with the essence of the island.
Mosaic Workshop
The Creative Mosaic Workshop is perfect for anyone who loves to create and wants to take home a one-of-a-kind handmade mosaic.
In this three-hour session, you’ll design and create your own unique mosaic artwork. Choose your colours, plan your design and bring it to life with vibrant tiles on a wooden base. No previous experience is needed – just bring your creativity and enjoy the process!

The Lastos Hike
The Lastos Hike begins at the Monastery of Archangel Michael, leading you off the beaten path through pine forests, breathtaking viewpoints, and seasonal waterfalls in the winter and spring.
Explore the stunning landscapes of Karpathos, where goats and sheep roam freely in the wild, all while practicing Leave No Trace principles.

Start your journey at any time from Pigadia Harbour (Cafe Cavo) and enjoy a scenic 1.5 hour boat ride to Kasos, where your adventure begins!
Simply open the Smartguide app on your smartphone (available for both iPhone and Android), search for the Kasos Audio Guide by Art and Walk and let the stories guide you as you follow the route using GPS.
The whole day tour of Kasos takes about 10 hours, giving you plenty of time to discover the hidden gems of the island.
Experiential olive picking holiday
In early November, it’s time for the olive harvest in Greece. Once the olives are carefully picked, they are pressed to produce the highest quality olive oil. Experience this amazing process of creating oil and take home with you a true taste of Greece. This unique, hands-on activity is offered annually each November.
