The hiking paths: An overview

An easy circular hiking route of 3 hours starting from Olympos village. On your way to Spoa, you will hike among low vegetation along the slopes of Mount Profitis Ilias (highest peak 1.168 meters). 

The hiking route is 7 km long and the highest spot you will reach is 500 meters above sea level.

An easy hiking route of 6.8 km long ( 2.5 hours) starting from Olympos village to Diafani. Hike the mountain path through pine trees and aromatic wild herbs and discover Karpathos on foot!

A moderate hiking trail of 8.4km starting from the northern edge of Karpathos, in Avlona village. 

During these 3,5 hours of hiking, you will walk in virgin nature and enjoy the panoramic views of Tristomo bay.

A moderate hiking path of 4.2 km starting from Avlona. 

After 1,5 hours of hiking, you will reach the rocky cape of Vroukounda, the ruins of the ancient city Vroukounda, and a large natural cave where the church of Agios Ioannis is build.

This easy hiking path of 5.8 km (2 hours)goes through low vegetation and a fir forest that will lead you to the chapel of Agios Ioannis and the Vanada beach.

The Saria islet is an important ecosystem as a large number of predatory birds such as Hieraaetus fasciatus, Buteo Rufinus and Falco eleonorae find shelter on the islet. 

Αn untouched islet and an exceptional hiking experience of 8 km and 3 hours of walking. Hiking level: Moderate.

This hiking route of 5.1 km (2 hours) starts from Olympos village and leads to Forokli beach. 

It is an easy hiking path along streams and running waters.

A moderate hike of 2.30 hours and 6.6 km along olive groves and the rocky landscape until you reach the chapel in Menetes.
