Single-tasking: An antidote to multitasking epidemic
Slow Living Lifestyle
How many times have you wondered if you are good enough: if you can complete your work tasks, your To-Do lists, be an understanding partner, an excellent housekeeper, a good parent, and a supportive friend?
Countless right?
And how many more times, have you started a new activity, took on more responsibilities at work, and loaded yourself with unnecessary stress, to accomplish these goals?
Especially when the feeling of responsibility is strong inside of you, screaming for perfection, the pressure can be severe.
When these voices follow you at night, while lying in bed, your precious time for rest and renewal turns into a hectic process of rumination and anxiety, in a try to handle the demanding daily life.
In the long term, this repetitive condition can unbalance your mental and physical state and lead to burn out symptoms, depression, and chronic stress.
Now is exactly the right moment to make the change and add Single-tasking to your life!

How to begin with Single-tasking?
Add Single-tasking to your life in 8 steps:
1
Take your time & make a general To-Do list, for the coming week or month, whatever suits you better.
2
Add to the list your work obligations, parenthood responsibilities, personal & social activities.
3
Divide the list into three categories; the Need-To-Do list, the Wish-list, and the Not-to-Do list.
4
Prioritize tasks; highlight the top 5 Need-To-Do tasks from your list, that must be asap scheduled & completed and set your desired deadlines.
5
Check out your Wish List; how many new activities can you add in-between the Need-To-Do tasks?
Do not rush to answer! Try one at the time for at least 14 days and then you can tell!
6
Before starting implementing each task or activity do not forget to get well prepared; set aside all other obligations and thoughts, focus on Single-tasking, and get amazed by the satisfaction you feel while doing things!
7
In your Not-To-Do list add habits or tasks that you usually do but they distract you, disconnect you from your goals and delay the effectiveness of your actions.
8
Spread 3 Free-Time activities in your schedule daily and do not rush to do anything in particular!
You have the right to be lazy, stare at the ceiling if this is what you wanna do, or go for winter swimming.
